Pediatric optometrists will provide a comprehensive eye exam for your child. Children must develop visual skills such as eye teaming, movement, and focusing. Issues in these areas will not be caught at school or during a pediatrician's eye exam. Eye therapy might be a helpful intervention if your child frequently rubs their eyes, blinks more than usual, complains of headaches, and has difficulty focusing in school.
